…a dream to work with!

“We went with Mira-Mira and she has been a dream to work with. She is very sweet and on top of things, and she genuinely seems excited about our wedding. She does a great job of getting me to describe my vision and then she runs with it and comes back with concrete ideas for me. She has done all the coordination with my vendors, which has made it really easy for me. We make the choices and she makes it happen. Hair and Make-Up – Mira – A+

Mira did a great job on my hair and make-up and the hair for my bridesmaids and mum (her assistant did the make-up for the bridesmaids and my mum). I was really pleased with how everyone’s look turned out – all the make-up was soft and natural and the skin flawless and even by the end of the night (and after lots and lots of champagne) everyone looked great and in tact. Also the make-up looks fantastic in all the photos as well. I had done a trial with Mira the week before so that also helped in deciding what to do on the day and I’m really glad she recommended some small false eyelashes as although I was sceptical they did make a big difference and weren’t obvious like I’d feared.   The Knot →

…totally loved everything!

…I went with Mira and the first time I spoke to her on the phone I loved her.  Her voice is like soothing and so sweet. I really gave her no direction when she got there, showed her a few pictures but wasn’t comitted to anything and I just sat there while she did her work not knowing what she was doing and totally loved everything. I thought my hair looked rad and I was amazed at my eye makeup. Best Destination Wedding →

Hair/Makeup – Maui Mira – A+++++ – I loved her!  LOVED LOVED LOVED.

Did I mention I loved her?  I booked her based on what I could find on her, her website, and her prices.  I will admit I was slightly worried because she didn’t require a contract or a deposit and I was unsure if she would show only because I’m paranoid..  Well Mira showed up on time, set up, looked at the inspiration photos and got right to work.  I don’t have the words to express how much I loved my hair and makeup.  I felt beautiful and that’s rare for me.  My makeup lasted the entire night and it wasn’t even airbrushed!  I have very oily skin so I was worried that it would slide off…that stuff lasted the entire night through the humidity and my sweat!  Don’t even get me started on my lashes and eye makeup….I loved it!  I hope I am getting across how happy I was with Mira because she really was awesome and I feel like there are hardly any reviews out there for her, and she so deserves great things to be said.   The Knot →
